Barrio El Rio + Silvercroft Neighborhood Tree Planting

Join Tucson Clean & Beautiful for a neighborhood tree planting event in the Barrio El Rio and Silvercroft communities. Volunteers will help plant trees to expand Tucson’s urban canopy, improve neighborhood resilience, and support climate and heat-mitigation efforts in frontline communities.
Tree planting is fun for all ages, and no prior experience is needed. All tools, gloves, and filtered drinking water will be provided.
Meeting Location:
Riverview Park
1600 N. Yavapai St., Tucson, AZ
What to bring:
Closed-toe shoes, a hat, sunscreen, and a refillable water bottle.
This event is part of Mayor Romero’s Tucson Million Trees Initiative and is supported by the USDA Forest Service and the Inflation Reduction Act.
